If you have not tasted life’s vinegar and it’s honey, then you will not appreciate the honey when it comes.

I have tasted both and that is why I give God thanks for every drop of honey that he sends to me.

Three left turns make a right turn.

Many times your life will go in directions that you do not want it to go in.

No matter how many times you go down these “wrong” roads, your life will eventually come around right again if you will learn from your mistakes.

Seemingly, these wrong roads will often teach you the things that you will later need to know.

Trying to fly too high in your own mind causes big headedness, indebtedness, separation from friends, misjudgments, over evaluation of self worth and a long fall down.

All you needed to do in the first place was to keep your feet on the ground and your head on your shoulders.

If you are ever found in this kind of situation, the cure for it can be found on your knees giving God thanks for His help and direction.

Finding success in life is like finding a needle in a haystack with a blindfold and mittens on.

The way you do it is to understand that success is in the haystack and then to remove the haystack one piece at a time until you feel something solid and that is the needle of success. What causes many people to give up is that they think that they can never remove the haystack, but successful people do!

Strong individuals are always despised by weak individuals because it is much easier to despise others than to grow stronger ourselves.

Judge not the tree because it has many branches.

Some strong, some weak, and it has endured many of life’s storms which have broken off it’s limbs, twisted it’s trunk and disfigured it.

Judge instead the ripened fruit that has fallen to the ground and see if it is sweet to the taste and to the soul.

Set Free

Those who seek security are eventually enslaved by the security.

Those who seek opportunity are eventually set free by the opportunity.

As for me, I shall seek opportunity and be free.

My soul has peace like a slow moving river.

My soul has joy like a rainbow.

My soul has hope like a sunrise.

My soul is blessed like a brilliant sunset.

My soul is filled with an ocean of God’s spirit.

My soul has a mountain of happiness.

My soul wants to sing out the glory of God’s love to the world.

All that is within me makes me content and complete in my soul.

Never Ending Grace

The winds of God's blessings blow across my face and bring to me peace and happiness and then life me up towards God's face to fill me with His never-ending grace.
