THE SEA OF NEVER, NEVER
You and I have a problem. The problem we share is
our past.
Not that we have the same past, but that we both
have a past and we can not let go of it.
Our past keeps interfering with our present and our
future.
Here is what I am going to do and I hope you will do
it too.
Put the past where it belongs, at the bottom of the
sea of never, never.
I know you want to know where this sea is so that
you can put your past into it also
I am going to tell you, but you must realize that
the problem of your past is too big for you
to cast it into the sea of never, never by yourself,
so you must get some help.
The only one who is big enough to handle your past
is God himself.
You must say to God, “God, I need your help to throw
my past into the sea of never, never.”
He will quietly listen to your request and then, as
if lifted by a giant balloon, your past will be
pitched from you forever into the sea of never,
never where you will never have to see it again.
We have all done things that we wished we had not
done in the past but that does not mean we
have to live with the past now or in the future
because that is what the sea of never, never is for.
Thank God for His help in casting your past into the
sea of never, never so you can be happy and
free for ever and ever.
Now the sea of never, never is behind you where you
will never have to look at it again.
God loves you and does not want you to carry the
past around with you because it gets in the way
of what He wants you to do today.
So if you haven’t already done it, let God put your
past into the sea of never, never and then
you will never, never have to worry about it
again.

JUST FOR TODAY, LORD
It’s morning and I have to start all
over again so Lord please help me just for today.
Give me what I need to get ready to
meet the trials and problems that I will face.
Help me with each decision to make it
be the best for all concerned.
Lead me around trouble that I don’t
need to be involved in but can’t see for myself.
Show me patience that I may understand
that it is you preparing my way and not me.
Allow me to have the physical strength
to endure the day as it falls around my shoulders and tries to push
me to the ground.
Let your wisdom be on the end of my
tongue so that it is you that protects me from misspoken
words.
Surround me with love that I may give
it to others in your name.
Teach me something new that I may
increase my knowledge and stretch my faith, as I become what you
want me to be.
Forgive me when I stray by trying to
work out things my way.
So Lord give me these things just for
today and then we will worry about tomorrow when it gets
here.

IF YOU ONLY KNEW WHAT A PRAYER PRAYED COULD
DO
If you only knew what a prayer prayed could
do.
If you could see it climb up to the stars.
And see it rush into God’s waiting arms.
If only you could see him take it ever so gently
into his hands.
Raise it up and bless it and send it back with
answers that obey His commands.
You would be amazed and surprised as you looked
into His eyes.
That He accepts each prayer no matter what its
size.
If you only knew what a prayer prayed could do or what it meant.
You would not be content until a prayer was heaven
sent.
You could not walk down the street and not think
prayerfully.
About the people you meet.
You would pray constantly until tears fell at your
feet.
So don’t wait until a tragedy comes your way.
Stop and send a prayer on its way today.

I DON’T COMPLAIN
Sometimes my leg hurts from an old
injury
Then I see someone without a
leg
So, I don’t complain
I am often out of money
But when I see someone without a
home
I can’t complain
Sometimes I get hungry because of
inconvenience or neglect,
Then I see someone who may not have a
good meal
In days on even weeks
So, I don’t complain
I look in the mirror and see a blemish
or a new wrinkle on my face
And then I see a person with damaged
or deformed face
I don’t complain
Being single I often get
lonely
Then I meet a couple who is
married
And they are both lonely
I can’t complain
I get discouraged when my prayers are
not answered
The way I like
Then I see someone who doesn’t know
how to pray
How can I complain?
What do I do when a tragedy comes my
way or I feel
that the whole world is against
me?
I just say thank you,
Jesus.
