These prayers were written as directed by the Spirit of God for you to get your needs and the needs of others met.

You may change them to make them more personal or more specific as your needs require.

God will hear your prayer(s) and will answer in the way that is best for you or the person that you are praying for. He may not answer in the way or when you would like, but trust Him because He loves you and He will do what is best for all concerned.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You humbly to ask You for work. I have need of a job or work that will provide money for me. I know that You know what is best for me, so I ask that You guide me to the job that is best for me. It may not be the job that I would choose, but if it is from You, than I will accept it. Let this job not only fulfill my needs but also let it be a joy to me. Also, let it be a job that I can learn from and will help me to become the person You wants me to be.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You for a business of my own. I ask that You prepare me for the business that is best for me and that will be a blessing to others and will bring glory to You. I ask that You direct me to this business and that You make a way for me to get into this business. You know what is best for me, so I surrender myself and this request for a business to You.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You for Your protection. I live in fear of harm and loss. I know this is not the way that You want me to live, so I ask that You protect me from anyone or anything that may harm me. Direct me so that I am removed from the way of harm, if that is what is best for me. I know that Your power is greater than any harm directed at me, so I surrender myself to You and Your protection.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You for peace in my life. I have had so many trials and heartaches that I can no longer endure them by myself. I have resisted asking You for help, but now I know that You are the only One who can truly give me the peace I seek. I know You will do whatever it takes to bring peace into my life, so I surrender myself to Your trust.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You to change some of my habits that are causing me and those around me harm. I have developed these habits over many years and no longer have control over them. You have the power to change me, so I ask that You make me into a person that You would like for me to be. I know that I can trust You and that You will do what is best for me, so I surrender myself and my habits to You.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You to remove the habit of worry. In Your Word You tell us not to worry but to have faith. My faith is weak and the habit of worry is greater than I can control by myself. I ask to build my faith and to remove worry and doubt from me because I know that these things keep me from having a good relationship with You and from doing the productive work that You want me to do. I surrender myself and my worry habit to You knowing that You will do what is best for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You intervene in my relationship with my rebellious child. This is a child, which You have given me, and I have done the best I know how to raise the way You would want. I do not have the wisdom or understanding of what to do with this child, so I surrender my child to You, knowing that You will do what is best.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You humbly to ask You for a child. Since all children come from You. I will accept any child that You send me. This may be a child of my flesh or a child that You send to me. Prepare me to be a good parent so that I may raise this child to know You. Prepare this child to accept and love me and respect me. I know that You know what is best for me and the child, so I trust You and Your guidance in sending me a child and know that when the time is right, all things will work together for this child to come into my life.

I humble come to You to ask You to help my lost friend. I do not know if this friend knows You, so I am asking on their behalf that You intervene in their life to help them in whatever way they need. Please direct this friend to You so that in the future they will come to You themselves. I know that You know that is best for my friend, so I surrender them to You.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You humbly to ask that You help me to get out of debt. I have not been a good steward of what You have given me, and it has caused me to be in debt. I want to do what is right and just, but I need Your help. Direct me to do whatever it takes to remove the debt from me and teach me to be a good steward of whatever You give to me in the future. I know I can trust You with this matter and that You will help me through it, so I surrender myself and my debt to You.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You for Joy in my life. No matter what I have done in my life, it has not brought me the true joy that I am seeking. I know now that You are the true giver of joy, so I come to You to ask that You change me and my life to make it a joyous life. I surrender myself to You because I know that I can trust You to do what is best for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You humbly to ask for Your blessing of abundance. I have had so much lack in my life for so long that I now ask You to take the lack I have and bless it and turn it into an abundance for me. If I am not good steward of what I do have, then teach me to be so that when You give me an abundance. I will be good steward over it. I know that all there is is Yours, so whatever I receive, I accept as a gift from You.

I humbly come to You to ask You for a house. You know my needs and what is best for me now and for the future, so I ask that You direct me to the right house for me. Help me to make a good buy in the house and to arrange the best financing for me. I surrender myself to You and Your direction in finding a house for me.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask You for a car. I need a car and I ask You to guide me to the best car for me. It should be a car I can enjoy and should be one that I can afford because I want to be a good steward of the money that You give me. Help me to make a good buy so that it will meet my budget for a car. There are many cars to choose from, so I surrender myself to Your trust and know that You will direct me to the right car for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You to reveal Yourself to my mate. I know someone can only come to know You if You reveal Yourself to them, so I ask that You do so in order that we may have the life together that I know You want for us. I know that You will do what is best, so I surrender myself and my mate to Your will.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask for Your forgiveness. I know that You made it possible for me to live forever. It has been hard for me to accept because I have tried to do so much on my own. Now, I realize that only You can change my life and direct me in the way I should go. I surrender my life to You and Your will and ask that You love me and accept me as one of Your children from this day forward.

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You to help me to lose weight. I am no longer able to control my weight by myself, so I ask You to direct me in how best to lose weight and to stay healthy. I want to look and feel the best that I can, so I know You will do what is best for me. I surrender myself and my weight problem to You.

I come to You humbly to ask You to restore my marriage I know that You know what is wrong and that You know what it will take to make it right. I do not want to place blame on anyone, I just ask that You make whatever changes that need to be made to make this marriage a successful one for Your glory. I know that You will do whatever is best for this marriage, so I surrender myself and my marriage to You.

I come to You humbly to ask for a healing in my life. I know that You are the source for all healing and that only You can truly and completely heal me. I do understand why some things happen, but I know that You will do what is best for me, so I surrender myself and my need for a healing over to You.

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You to restore my broken relationship. I do not want to place blame, I ask You remove any hurt that I may have caused to someone else and to heal any hurt or bitter feelings in myself. I know that You will do what is best for all concerned, so I surrender myself and this hurt to You.

Father in Heaven,

I humbly come to You to ask for a gift of wisdom. This world requires that I make decisions that are sometimes beyond my understanding; therefore, I need wisdom beyond my own. I know Your wisdom has no limits and You have said in Your word that if we lack wisdom, to ask for it and You will give it to us. I know I will have to make some changes in my life, and that I have much to learn, so I ask for guidance and Your patience to help me through whatever I will encounter to gain this wisdom. I surrender myself and know that I can trust You to do what is best for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You for a husband. I, as a woman, need a husband that will be someone that I can make happy. Give him Your wisdom so that we will make good decisions together. Let him be a kind person so that we may share joy and laughter. Make him a man that will treat me as an equal and with respect. He may not be the man that I would choose, but if You send him, then I will accept him and love him. Prepare me for him so that he will love me and accept me. Prepare him for me so that I will know that he is the right man for me. Let me not speak of marriage to him, because I know that You will tell him when it is right to marry. Guide my path so that it will lead to him. I will not search for him unless You direct me to do so. I know that You know what is best for me, so I humbly surrender myself to Your will and know that when the time is right, You will give me the husband who is right for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You with a humble heart to ask You for a wife. I, as a man, need a wife to complete me and to make my life whole. Send me someone who will be a friend and partner. Let her have a heart of joy and be someone I can trust with my life. Have her to be caring person who will care about me and for those around her. Let her be someone who is careful in her dress and looks yet is not proud and stiff. Prepare me for her so that she will look at my heart and see the person that I really am and love me and respect me. Prepare her for me so I will love and accept her as an equal life partner and respect her.

When the time is right, direct me to ask her too marry me and to make all things work out right. I know that You know what is best for me, so I humbly surrender myself to Your will and trust Your guidance in finding a wife for me.

Father in Heaven,

I come to You humbly to ask You for good health. You know that my body is weak and needs to be restored to the healthy body I know You want me to have. I may not have taken as good care of it as I should have, but now I am willing to learn how to care for my body because I know it is a gift from You and that I should be a good steward of whatever You give to me. If I have any habits that are causing harm to me, then I ask that You to help me in changing or removing these habits in me, as I am not strong enough to do it on my own. I surrender myself into Your will in restoring me to good health.

I come to You Humbly to ask You to reveal Yourself to my lost relative. I know that You know this person and know what it will take for them to be open to receive You. I surrender this relative to Your trust and know You will do what is best for them.

I humbly come to You to ask You for success in my life. I want to learn the ways of Your success so that I will do what is right for me and for those around me who depend upon me. You know what I need to learn, so direct me in the way that I should go. help me to be patient until success comes to me. Help me to overcome all obstacles put in my way. Give me wisdom to make decisions that are best for all concerned. I surrender myself and my success to You, for I know that You will do what is best for me.
