Weight management is one of the most difficult
goals you will ever attempt to achieve, but you can do it.
The first step in successful weight management
is to make the decision to do it and then commit to do it until your
goal is achieved. Once you have done this you are half way to your
goal.
The next step is to begin to tell yourself that you
are thinner and then to imagine yourself becoming thinner. This is
very important because your brain will carry out whatever you tell
it to do.
Your brain will achieve what you believe it can
achieve.
Next, start to take at least one multivitamin a
day. This will make sure that your body will receive all of the
vitamins it needs to be healthy. Consider taking Bee- Pollen as
an all-natural vitamin. It is called “the perfect food” and it
is available at almost all vitamin counters. One five
hundred-milligram tablet a day is sufficient. *If
you are allergic to flower pollen, consult with your doctor before
taking the Bee-Pollen.*
Now you must start to watch how and when you eat.
* Eat only when you are
hungry.
* Do not eat out of habit or
to just have something to do.
* If you are eating when you
are not really hungry, then wait until you do get hungry.
* Start to think about when
you are eating.
* Get help from a diet
professional if you think you need additional help.
Next, watch to see what you are eating.
* Eat less heavy meats, which slows down your
digestive system.
* Eating meat is alright but try and cut down
the portion size or substitute lighter meats or vegetables as often
as possible.
* Raw vegetables have more nutrition and are
better for you, so eat a variety of salads and raw vegetable
dishes.
* Eat fresh fruit when you can because
most fruits are low calorie and have substantial fiber.
* Eat anything you want but begin to reduce
your portion size of each item you eat.
* Do not make yourself hungry. Eat until you
feel comfortable but not stuffed.
* You do not need to change your present
eating habits unless you are not eating good food at all.
You must continue to see yourself in your mind as
becoming thinner. This eventually will adjust you body’s metabolism
to the fewer calories you are eating.
* Continue reducing your food portions at a
slow pace so that you will not feel hungry.
* If you get hungry then eat a healthy snack
to relieve the hunger.
You will not see much of a change for about one and
half to two weeks because your body will resist any change and will
try to maintain its present weight for as long as it can.
Slowly you will see the change and will be
encouraged to continue on the plan.
When you have reached the weight you want you must
continue to tell yourself that you are thin if you do not do this
then your mind and your body will try to go back to the size it was.
You must override this desire by constantly watching the way you eat
and what you eat.
The last part may be the hardest or the easiest for
you to do. It depends on you. You must ask for help. You must
realize that this problem is more that you can handle by yourself.
Only if you admit this to yourself can you begin to achieve the goal
you have committed to.
* Admit to God that you have
a problem and that you need His help with it.
* Thank Him for the problem and ask Him to
help you with it.
* He will give you the strength that you do
not have on your own.
* Together you will be successful in becoming
the person you want to be.
