In recent times there has been much controversy about where The Ten Commandments may be displayed. They have been banned from most government buildings and many public areas.
Jamon decided to write the ten rules for happiness as a protest to the banning of the Ten Commandments. The ten rules for happiness are to be used as a reminder of the Ten Commandments and are written in such a way that they may be displayed almost anywhere. God gave us the Ten Commandments to keep us in a right relationship with Him and to make us happy and secure.
Use the ten rules for happiness to remind yourself and others of the Ten Commandments that was given by God.
Do not put things or people up on a pedestal above you
Do not curse or use words that you will regret saying later
Rest at least one day a week
Respect your father and mother because they brought you into the world and love you
Do not do anything that would cause harm or death to someone else
Do not date someone else's mate
Do not take for yourself what belongs to someone else
Always tell the truth and do not say things that are not true about others
Do not desire what belongs to a friend or neighbor
Respect people around you as you would want them to respect you
