Wisdom is knowledge from God that when put into action benefits you and others.
Jamon has been given much wisdom from God that he hopes will benefit many people throughout the world.
The Gift of Wisdom: When Jamon was a young man he ask God for one gift and that was the gift of wisdom. Jamon believed that if he was given that one gift then he would be able to solve or work through most of his problems in life. God not only gave Jamon the gift of wisdom but He gave him many more gifts also.
In this book you will see some of the wisdom that Jamon has been given. It is hoped that you will use it to benefit yourself and those who are affected by your decisions.
This wisdom came by a process of great pain to Jamon over many years; use it to avoid pain in your life.
No person can write with the authority that Jamon writes with unless the spirit of God is with them and inspires them.
Some people would rather have pride in their life than to have Gods humbleness and sense pride blocks Gods blessings from coming to them then they complain about not having any of Gods blessings.
In this life you must taste both honey and vinegar so you will know the difference and will enjoy the honey all the more when it comes to you.
Determination.
I will take these pieces of my shattered life and build from them a new life. A life that is bigger, better and stronger, yet humble to keep me in remembrance of the past but with the belief that the future holds an unseen abundance of blessings for me.
Trying to fly too high in your own mind causes big headedness, indebtedness, separation from friends, misjudgment, over evaluation of self worth and a long fall down. All you needed to do in the first place was to keep your feet on the ground and your head on your shoulders. If you are ever found in this kind of situation, the cure for it can only be found on your knees seeking God’s forgiveness and direction.
The only way you can help others through their struggles is to get through your own struggles first and then you can help others with theirs.
One day computers will help us to get all the way through this life; they just won’t be able to get us to the next life.
Life Belongs to the Givers
No award has ever been given to the takers, to the ones who only gather in and never sow. No sympathy is ever given to the ones who take and take. A shallow emptiness surrounds those who hold everything to themselves. Life belongs to those who are givers of God’s blessings and to those who have a need that can be met by the giver of those blessings.
Not one single person chose who their parents are or when they would be born therefore it is a mystery to me why anyone would take pride in their heritage and assume that they are any better than anyone else in the world.
The more pride we have the more we lose sight of God therefore pride must cause spiritual blindness. How clearly are you seeing God’s will for your life?
A wise man does not know how wise he is therefore he is always seeking more of Gods wisdom.
If your name is written in God’s book of life just remember that you are not the one who wrote it there.
The more wisdom God gives to me the less I care about what this world thinks about me.
Would your view of this life change if you looked back from heaven toward earth? It will not be long before you get that opportunity.
When someone puffs themselves up to look good to other people they are usually filled with a lot of air and not much substance.
Abundant pride does not create anything in abundance, except more pride.
A life worth having is worth the price it takes to get it and the higher the price the greater the value it has to you and to others.
A road not taken may be your road to opportunity and happiness.
A star is someone who persisted against the dark until they overcame the dark and then lit up the sky.
Life is a management decision, you decide to manage it or it will manage you.
Life is more about the things that are unseen than the things that are seen.
Life only surrenders its best when you give up yourself.
Life should be an endless procession of first.
Never a dream sown never a dream reaped.
Quality of life does not rely on how much you have but on how you manage what you do have.
All knowledge came from God long before man thought it came from himself.
A humble spirit is not a self-developed talent; it is a gift from God because if it were a self developed talent we would take pride in that also.
A humble spirit will always accomplish more than an arrogant one because God will rush in to help a humble spirit.
A tragedy that looks like a mountain today eventually melts and runs into the sea of history and leaves only a stain of remembrance where it once was.
At the end of your life you count up the people you served not the money you’ve made.
A humble heart will always have its needs met from God’s abundant pantry.
An idea and prayer have far more potential than an idea and a lot of money.
An ordinary man and an extraordinary God can do anything.
As you go through life you first discover money, then you discover Jesus, then you discover that money doesn’t mean much without Jesus, and then your life is over.
I’m Possible.
The word impossible is often mispronounced.
If you will pronounce it this way and use this definition for it then your life will never be the same and all things will become possible for you.
I’m possible, my hopes and dreams will come true.
I’m possible, I will achieve the goal God has set for me.
I’m possible, I will do what ever it takes to become me.
I’m possible, I will have the faith to follow through until I am finished.
I’m possible, because God said I was
I’m possible
Only when you are at the bottom of life’s well, do you find Gods true living water.
The flower of faith is bitter upon the tongue but it becomes sweet to the taste with the ripening of its fruit.
We often have to go through a lot of thorns to get to the roses in life but their beauty makes us soon forget about the scratches.
If you do not nip something in the bud you may not like the fruit it produces.
Take out of your life that which is not good for you now or which may not be good for you in the future.
Commitment.
It is not what you think about, but what you write down that endures.
It is not what you want to do but what you actually do do which produces benefits for yourself and for those around you.
Your life is a testimony of your commitments not of your desires.
Things done with commitment withstand the test of time.
Things only wished for wash away with the falling rain.
Commitment is the foundation upon which great dreams and great lives are built, without it all things fall.
A thought without action is just a thought but a thought put into action with commitment changes lives and the world.
At the end of your life the only things you add up are the commitments you made and kept.
A committed person is a force to be reckoned with by those who would oppose them.
A commitment committed to paper is one thousand times stronger than one only committed to mind.
A hope or a wish is just foggy thoughts but a commitment a stone wall.
Becoming an instrument of God is a learning process with great challenges and great rewards.
Becoming an instrument of God is something that you cannot take credit for but you can see the results and then praise Him for using you.
Before God will raise you up before others you must humble yourself before Him.
Being an instrument of God is not easy but it is an honor just knowing that you are in the hands of the creator of all there is.
Being human and bound to the flesh does not mean that you can not be free in spirit. Clasp someone’s hand, share a smile, walks with purpose these are the things that let you know that you are alive and make the day worth while.
We live in a world filled with knowledge and only a hand full of wisdom on how to use it.
